David Alan Reppert
December 5, 1949 – August 18, 2024
 

David Alan Reppert, 74, of Lafayette, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at IU Health Arnett Hospital.

He was born December 5, 1949, in Lafayette, IN, to the late Robert and Essie (Fultz) Reppert.

After high school David joined the US Army and served from 1970 until 1977.

He married Kathleen Parker, and she survives.

David worked as an Instrumentation Technician for Tate & Lyle for 34 years before retiring in 2012.

He was a member of the American Legion Post # 11, Masonic Lodge and Wildcat Valley Gun and Rifle Club.

David enjoyed hunting, riding motorcycles, shooting sports, his Corvette and camping.

Surviving with his wife, Kathleen S. Reppert of Lafayette, is a daughter, Jennifer Kramer of Lafayette, a son, Matthew (Chelsea) Reppert of Romney, siblings, Colonel Ashby III (Diana) Brooks of Whidbey Island, WA, Steven (Janice) Reppert of Everett, WA, Robin (Charles) Whitted of Dayton, and Barbara (Kenneth) Emery of Buck Creek. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Mason, Tyler and Grayson Kramer and Emma, Kathleen and Henry Reppert.

David was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Timothy Reppert.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until the time of the service at 7:00 pm on Monday, August 26, 2024, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette, with Pastor Dustin Folden officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Youth Program
